Michael Korybut Wisniowiecki (1640-1673) was elected King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania in 1669 and ruled until his death in 1673. He married Eleonora Maria Josefa of Austria on 27 February 1670 in the Jasna Góra Monastery in Lvov, the ceremony was celebrated by Papal Nuncio, Cardinal Galeazzo Marescotti. The couple remained childless. After the death of Michael in 1673, Eleonora remained in Poland for a couple of years. In 1678 she married Charles V, Duke of Lorraine. The couple had five children.
