AE broad Khani Dirham nd., [Marghinan] (A.1968M/RRRR), without mint and date, citing only the caliph al-Nasir on obverse, the kalima on reverse, arranged as on the Qarakhanid dirham of Marghinan 602, unpublished and perhaps unique – 4.78 gr – F/VF, extremely rare, ex SARC auction 20, lot 605\nThe only late Qarakhanid copper dirham of Marghinan is in the name of Husam al-Din Qutlugh Toghan Khaqan on the obverse (type A-3424). This piece is of identical design and arrangment, but is totally anonymous except for the name of the caliph al-Nasir. It was likely struck during the lifetime of Chingiz Khan, judging by style and calligraphy
