Obv: Jauhar Al-Alam Shah / rev:Teluk Samawi and date AH 1227 (AD1812), Teluk Samawi was an important port on the northern coast of Sumatra from the 13th -16th cent. At the beginning of the 19th century, during the Sultan of Aceh, Jauhar al-Alam Shah, Teluk Samawi became for a while the capital of his government before he returned to his palace in Banda Aceh.
