Punchmarked AV Pagoda (MSI-vol.I cf 277; ZENO 337183; cf Fr. 325+) with the flying Garuda to the right and various punches around - 3.73 g. - god VF, early and rare type, the symbol of battle-axe with elephant goad (attached to it) appears like a Kannada legend. Such symbols are known recently from coins of Kalachuris of the Kalyana ruler Jogama, who became an influential vassal of Vikramaditya VI (1076-1126), being related to the great Chalukya king by matrimony
