WWII, Indonesian locally produced sword in japanese "Katana" style for use by insurgents, made with wooden grip and scabbard, interestingly the scabbard is inscribed with various places in South East-Asia, it reads "2 Maart, Lombok en Bali, 28 Maart 1946, 5th Indian Div. B.L. Forces, Lamgan-Bankok-Singapore-Soerabaja-Denpasser-Ampenan-Mengwi-Kediry-Palembang-Peibum-Bangka", very interesting example in good condition
