WWI, Belgium/Germany, M1882 Comblain rifle, barrel dated '1873' and 'ELG' proofmarked, side marked 'Comblain Breveté', numbers not matching. Various markings on stock, including 'Garde Civique, 1882' and marking 'Deutsches Reich', indicating the rifle was captured and used by the Germans. Barrel deactivated, but action still working, front-end of stock possibly replaced, interesting rifle
