Lot 2682

Late war SS refurbished tunic with original US capture papers and postwar correspondence from the "National Archives", made from a Kriegsmarine (M35) tunic, marked "Fr. Schmitz u. Co. Pforzheim" with original insignia. This tunic has been re-issued to a (foreign) SS tranport unit, the capture papers are named to a Pfc, of the 85th Engineers Heavy pontoon Co. US 7th Army, January 1945
