A Chinese bronze bell, known as a 'Yongzhong'. The bell is cast to either side with three rows of protruding bosses, divided by rope-twist lines. To one side an inscription between the bosses. Provenance: Private collection the Netherlands, purchased 11 October 1943 from the art dealer 'Kunsthandel Aalderink', Amsterdam, The Netherlands and comes with the original invoice and accompanying letter.
