A silver and ebony figure of an elephant, finely ornamented silver details set with stones, the elephant depicted as Esala Perahera (festival of the tooth) at the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, to pay homage to the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, the relic is carried in a sacred stupa on the back of a heavily decorated bejewelled elephant, Sri Lanka, circa 1930 -H. 12 cm, good condition-
