An Iron sukashi Tsuba, Japan, 19th century. Naga-maru-gata, decorated with Hotei, Inari and other symbols of luck and wealth in katachi-bori, set within a thin rim. The inside of the ryo-hitsu-ana lined with gold (?), bronze sekigane and a two-character signature reading ‘Bunsui’ (?). Height: 7.2 cm, Thickness: 5.1 mm
