An Ito school Tsuba, Japan, 19th century. Iron katachi-bori tsuba with a circular motif of a halberd coming from a dragon’s mouth, emerging from a scroll. The dragon’s eyes with gold, details in usu-niku-bori and ke-bori. The seppa-dai signed ‘Bushu ju Tadatoki saku’ (made by Tadatoki of Bushu). Height: 7.7 cm, Thickness: 5 mm
