Horseman Type, AV dinara, 8.19 g, 19 mm, specific gravity 15.17. Obv.: Elegant, nimbate king on horseback to left. Round face, heavy eyelids, and hairdo of curved layers of curls. He wears a tailed tunic with beading down front over long, smooth breaches; a sash with fluttering tips flies behind. Only traces of circular legend (paramabhāgavata-mahārājādhirāja-śrīcandraguptaḥ) / Rev.: Nimbate Śrī sits on wicker stool, holding a double-curved diadem fillet and a lotus with rounded petals. Curved fingers and forward left foot showing countable toes. Hairdo of tight curls tied with clasp; she wears a long, pleated hip cloth.
