Chattra Type, AV dinara, 7.70 g, 19 mm, specific gravity 15.16. Obv.: Moustached, nimbate king beneath a parasol, dropping oblations on altar, while resting left hand on sword. He wears tunic over loin cloth and leggings with plaques, sash, and necklace. On his cap a crest ornament of beads or pearls. The tall attendant with the parasol, standing behind the king, appears in the right field. A few letters of the verse legend, from I o’clock, reached the flan. When complete it runs kṣitim avajitya sucaritair divaṃ jayati vikramādityaḥ, ‘Vikramāditya, having conquered the earth, wins heaven by meritorious works’ / Rev.: Slender Śrī stands on lotus. She wears a hip cloth and upper cloth or uttarīya; hair tied into bun on top of head. She holds diadem fillet and pulls a long lotus stalk with hand towards hip.
