Western Zhou, 1122-222 B.C, Pseudo-money,"Wawa (Cicada) money". Spring & Autumn period. Generically, these are wearable ornaments with a loop for hanging. They could be simply ornaments, but a number of interested parties like to think that bronze of any shape could/would have been used as money back then.
