Sceptre Type, AV dinara, 7.87 g, 18-20 mm, specific gravity 15.83. Obv.: Elegant, nimbate king holding staff-sceptre while sacrificing on altar; belt wrapped around waist. Garuḍa banner in left field; name samudra beneath left arm, somewhat difficult to read because of die shift and compact letter shape. Verse legend, also in compact Brāhmī script, as previous, from I o’clock; only first half is clearly legible / Rev.: Nimbate Śrī with multi-looped fillet and fat cornucopia.
