Obv.: Tall, nimbate king holds staff-sceptre while sacrificing on altar; he wears tailed tunic over pants with plaques; tiny stubs on halo; Garuḍa banner in left field. Name samudra (with ‘eastern’ ma) beneath left arm. Traces of legend praising victories on the battlefield and winning heaven, samaraśatavitatavijayo ji-taripurajito divaṃ jayati, from I o’clock. Rev.: Nimbate Śrī with fillet and cornucopia, sits on throne with backrest, her feet on lotus; legend parākramaḥ, ‘bold advance’ - (Raven 1994a:218-219 (Var.
