Pattern 1 Gulden 1896 in bronze (Vgl Sch. 796; LSch 685 'Achtergrondinformatie') Cut in half by 's Rijks Munt to demonitize - Coarse hair (type 1896/1897), with broad ZY in edge lettering (type 1892/1896). This combination means that, although the date is not visible, it was almost certainly 1896. Ex. auction Christie's 1988 (collection Berkman), lot 573. - Of the highest rarity, most likely unique - XF, some original luster remaining.
