1984 - Medal 'Eightieth birthday of Professor W.S.M.H. Heckscher' by C. van Pallandt (see: Hollands Maandblad 1985 blz. 446-457) - Obv. Portrait in raised wirework to the right / Rev. 'W.S.H. 14-12-84' within legend - bronze 83 mm, height 28 mm - XF - very rare and sought after - NB Heckscher (1904-1999) was a lecturer in art history at Utrecht University from 1955 to 1965 and then at Duke University in Durham 1966-1974. NB The medal was in the possession of the first owner until 2024.
