1924/1932 - Medal 'Gouden Professor Donders-beloningspenning van het Nederlandsch Tijdschrift voor Geneeskunde' by P. Pander (KB.467) - Obv. Bust left / Rev. Field for inscription within legend; engraved 'AAN Dr C.C. DELPRAT 1886-1932' - gold 59 mm 99,43 gram - aFDC in orig. box - extremely rare - NB Awarded during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the NTvG on January 9, 1932. Delprat was a member for 40 years, had held various administrative positions and had recently described the history of the first 50 years of the magazine. He was the fourth person to acquire this large gold medal. NB The NTvG website states that the medal has been awarded since 1913; the Begeer catalog dates the dies to 1924.
