AR Denarius (Rome AD 187, 3,16g) - Reverse brockage / AVCT PIET P M TR P XII IMP VIII COS V PP Pietas standing left dropping incense on altar and holding open box (RIC 146) - we know for sure this denarius is struck by Commodus because he is the only emperor who bears the title 'Auctor Pietatis'. Reverse brockages of this type are very rare and seldom offered.
