Legend interrupted by three coats of arms: (Hoorn) VERRIT (Medemblik) TVRBIDA - (lily) NAVTA (Enkhuizen) ÆQVORA Three-master to the left; beneath a curved West Frisian coat of arms between 16 and 17 / Rev. (five-petaled rose) AVIDI SPES FIDA COLONI Woman milking a cow inside a fence - silver 50 mm, weight unknown - in NGC slab MS 64 - grey patine - The type is described by Van Loon dated 1609, and then probably relatively the Twelve Years' Truce; also known with the dates 1617 and 1622. Produced by the West Frisian mint master Caspar Wijntges (sig. lily) probably commissioned by the West Frisian States and made by the provincial die cutter Jacob (Paulus ?) Uyttenwael.
