VOC, Doit (3.11 g.), Zeeland, 1786, countermarked with a “star like ornament or flower” which is also seen on doits found in Jaffna (Scho.1257A; v.d. Wis G 23A). The similarity, however, with the countermarks found on silver coins attributed to the Sintang Sultanate, may be an indication that this countermark orginate from there too.
