Lot with 7 items: Africa, Katanga, AD1100 and later: Large St. Andrew’s cross shape of cast copper, 1020g., 170x220 mm. / Zimbabwe, 13-17th cent. Two small H-shaped copper crosses (10.28, 11.79 g) The H-shape cross was in use prior tot he Katanga Cross (Opitz p.124-125) / Congo, Ridged Crescent (440 g. 80x130mm). Roughly cast copper open crescents, three prominent recessed ridges, attributed to Konda, Kundu, Ntomba and Bobangi tribes (Opitz p.278) / Nigeria, Tajere, iron bar (220g.; long 320 mm) with rough diamond-shaped swelling at center & long squared ends made by the Fulani subjects Batta and Mumuye, this was a tradable ingot form for recycling worn out iron tools (Opitz p.332) / Nigeria, heavy attractively decorated copper anklet (1.100g.) c. 100 mm wide and 52 high; Sierra Leone, Liberia, and French Guinea, Kissypenny, ca. 1900-1920’s worth 2 cents (Opitz p.179)
