Dukat 1831, Warsaw mint, mm. torch and Polish eagle - variety without dot left or right of torch (KM125, Schulm.232, Bitkin1, Plage270, Fr.114) - Obv: Standing knight dividing date, holding sword and fasces of the United Provinces / Rev: 4-line inscription within ornamented square - Gold 3.48 gram, mintage 163.205 pcs. - good VF, following the uprising of 1830 against the Russian occupiers, ducats imitating those of William I of the Netherlands were minted in 1831 in Warsaw to be used to settle Russia's debt to the Warsaw bank, a rare and desirable type variety
