AR Tanka (11.42 g.), NM (Mrohaung), BE1007 (1645) (G/G RA11; R&S 7.22; MBLA358-62; KM 11; ZENO293765/329820) Both sides in Arakanese: 1007 hsin ni thakhin hsin byu thakhin thado min taya (1007. Lord of the Red Elephant, Lord of the White Elephant, Thado King of Righteousness). Cleaned and hole plugged, nevertheless attractive with full dotted borders - VF, added: a decently struck similar type of coin (13.03 g.) with the same legend, but struck off metal (lead-tin alloy). Curious and so far an unrecorded issue. Perhaps an attempt for the introduction of a minor denomination? A Counterfeit is not very likely as it is much heavier than the similar silver tanka’s
