The usually uniscribed sycee were called by the Chinese "broken silver", but due to their different shapes they were aso known as dish sycee, mirror sycee, hen`s nest, pumpkin seeds, etc. Hen’s Nest sycee is known for the several waves on the surface. This piece is assumed to be a Hen’s Nest sycee cast in Yunnan early 19th cent.
