1919 - Medal 'Vrede' by C.J. van der Hoef (KB.-, JP.44) - Obv. Stylized female head to the left with a palm branch / Rev. VREDE / 1919 under a shining 5-pointed star - bronze cast 77 mm 136,02 gram - aXF, obverse somewhat spotty - extremely rare !! - NB The obverse was designed in 1918. This piece does not appear to consist of two soldered parts, like that in the Nationale Collection (note JP p.165) which must have been an trial cast.
