Departure of the first Dutch fleet to Java 1596, below space for engraving - bronze oval 45x60 mm 51,93 gram - XF - rare -NB The medal is awarded every other year in gold for services to geography and cartology. NB Cartographer Petrus Plancius (1552-1622) was involved in the founding of the VOC.
