JULY, 2, 1872.’. On the trigger guard the pre-conversion ’36 CAL’ showing through the worn off plating. The cylinder is engraved with a combat scene and the cartouche ‘COLTS PATENT No.’. Serial number 8890. Circa 1873-1880.
