Ottoman Saif, gold mounted presentation sword, curved damask blade, detailed hooked pommel, nicely etched crossguard. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with arabesque scrolling motif, beautifully designed fittings with various animals pictured on top and bottom parts, in total approximately 300 gram 18k/20k gold. Blade considering the age in very good condition, fittings on scabbard bit loose, beautiful piece with incredible workmanship
